Pro-Life Action League founders Joe and Ann Scheidler have prayed and sidewalk counseled outside the Albany Medical-Surgical Center abortion facility for over 25 years, and this afternoon, they paid a visit to the site of the now-empty building and parking lot located just over a mile from the League’s headquarters on Chicago’s Northwest Side:
The last day the Albany clinic was open was Saturday, October 17 — and it has not reopened. Patients are now being referred to another FPA abortion facility in downtown Chicago, and callers are being told that the Albany facility is permanently closed.
We at the League are so grateful to all the faithful pro-life activists who have joined in prayer, protest, and sidewalk counseling outside Albany these last 25 years! This closing would not have been possible without their hard work and dedication day in and day out, in all kinds of weather. And we’re pleased to see that pro-life activist presence moving to the downtown FPA location.
